WHAT'S HAPPENING IN ART

Here’s what’s happening at the Ridge. Art students have been working hard to master various types of perspective early on in the school year. Perspective introduces some fundamental drawing skills early on to help build confidence and improve the compositions of future artworks. 4th grade has been working on bird’s eye view, 5th grade has been working on worm’s eye view, 6th grade has been working on one-point perspective, and 7th grade has been working on two-point perspective.

6th and 7th Grade collaborative art project of the Eagle

"The Eagle" was a collaborative project amongst thirty-nine different art students in Mr. Ink's 6th and 7th grade classes.  Seventy unique squares were painted and drawn on to create the image.  "The Eagle" is a beautiful addition to The Ridge.
