The MRIS Ranger Program is a leadership opportunity for 6th and 7th grade students who demonstrate responsibility, teamwork, and a desire to serve our school community. Rangers is an application based program, and students may apply for the program at the end of their 5th grade year. Seventh grade students who are new to MRIS may also apply.

Rangers take on a variety of important duties, including assisting teachers with arrival and dismissal, escorting visitors and prospective students around campus, and raising and lowering the American flag each day. Being selected as a Ranger is both an honor and a privilege, as these students serve as role models and ambassadors for Montgomery Ridge.

In addition to their leadership responsibilities, Rangers have the opportunity to participate in a spring trip to explore destinations such as Washington, D.C., Louisville and Cincinnati, and Charleston, SC.

Please contact Sarah Shuler with any questions about the Ranger Program.
