Student Council
The MRIS Student Council serves, along with the Parent-Teacher Cooperative and Team Leaders, as an important part of our School Leadership governance. Every homeroom elects a representative to serve on the Student Council. Representatives are responsible for listening to and sharing concerns and ideas from classmates, for keeping their homerooms informed on school issues, and for helping to improve our school community. Throughout the school year, Student Council sponsors service projects and school events, such as Movie Night and Spring Fling, and provides a voice for the student body. Advisors for the MRIS Student Council are Leah Hines and Emily Collins.
