Art Club

Come create with the MRIS Art Club!  Students sign up for art classes based on interest.  Classes have fees based on the activity and class sizes are limited.  Meeting dates and times vary.   

ART CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT

4th and 5th Grade Art Club

Our 4th and 5th grade Art Club will be meeting after school from 3:00 -5:OO p.m. Wednesday, March 29th. We will be creating springtime birds from mixed media and paint. This is a chance for your student to create something uniquely springtime that is beyond the scope of what we do in our regular art class. The fee will be $3.00. Please send it to the art room in a plastic bag or envelope with your child’s name and grade on it. Pickup is at the main entrance at five o'clock. Seating is limited to 16 students, so reserve yours now! Please feel free to email me with any questions. 

 

6th and 7th Grade Art Club

Our 6th and 7th grade art club will be meeting Thursday, May 4th from 2:45-5:45 p.m. for our annual end of the year art show set-up and pizza party. Students do not have to stay the whole time. We’ll be setting up the student art show upstairs and then having pizza at five o’clock in the art room. The fee will be $3.00. Please bring it to the art room in a plastic bag or envelope with a student name and grade on it. We have a 20-student limit, so we encourage you to reserve a spot now. Hoping to see your kid there!
